So here is some math for you, DOD got a pay raise, however our taxes went up so that I take home less money this year. So if a politician tells you part of the budget increase for DOD payroll is to help the people serving, they are full of BS, over 100% of the pay increase went to taxes; it just looks like you are paying to help us out<O:p</O:p

Everybody's paycheck took a hit after Jan 1. Gotta pay for the entitlement programs somehow.

Yet Congress continues to fiddle around any real reforms while the USA goes farther down the drain.

I know everyone took a hit, but don't let them try and say it was to pay for us, I'm not getting any more. But someone is, and my guess is they are not working. Odd how people keep crossing over into the US for work, but yet there are no jobs here? hmmm how does that work :rolleyes:

New pay table doesn't go into effect until Mar 27th. This should be the first pay increase in over 3 years...IIRC it's around 2%
Social security went way up...
I got a step increase this year so I only lost about 1/2 what everyelse did...

SUCK's...9 more years until i plan to retire...:mad:

At least 7 more years for me. Kids will be going to college soon.
