Ran into Mark from Diesel Power a couple months ago. Small world!
My buddy Erin and I were running a Z train from Phoenix, AZ to Winslow, AZ and we got stopped by Amtrak about 2AM at Williams Junction, AZ. We had some time to kill so we were standing on the landing BSing...ya know, doing typical Conductor shit. We ended up striking up a conversation with some guy wearing a Diesel Power jacket. It ends up being Mark Snyder, the Art Director from Diesel Power. He was on vacation checking out our big hole in the ground and was catching a red eye Amtrak train home at 2AM. Funny who you run into in the middle of the night in the middle of no where. Mark is a very nice guy and a great emissary for Diesel Power. Mark, if you're reading this, it was great to meet you. I'll see what I can do as far as getting you some info on these 20,000 + HP, mile long, diesel powered beasts we run. :nana:
