Manual to power mirrors in 2002 DMax LS

Good evening,

I was reading somewhere that if you have an LS with power door locks and windows the harness should already be in the door for the power mirrors... Now if that is true it would be great to know what to look for so I can confirm I have the right plugs. If I do what would be involved for me to be able to convert my manual mirrors to power ones? Of course I will need the switches and mirror from an 02 but anything else? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I would say you have to pull the door panels. I don't have a ls with manual mirrors so I can't be of much help.

all you have to do is pull the switch panel off and the plug should be sitting right there. If you pull the mirror off the other end should be there as well. I am in the process of converting mine to power. Now all i need is the switch.

Let me know where you find/found the switch and which mirror you used RedHoss

Does the switch panel simply pry off? Or do you have to remove the door skin? I know that is a stupid question but I don't want to break anything.

I hope this worked if not you can PM me your email address and I will forward you the picture. For some reason my comp is acting weird. But you will grab the switch panel on the side (middle) bottom, then lift up. Real easy, the wiring harness you are looking for should literaly be right there, at least mine was. When you take off the mirror there is some foam packed in the hole there to keep air from circulating through if you remove that you will see the wiring harness that plugs into the mirror. I got my mirrors at discountautomirrors.com

Let me know if you have any questions I dont mind helping. I hope this at least gets you started. I have all of that done im just trying to find the power mirror switch and the panel that holds all the switches. I dont know part numbers or anything.
