Manual Boost controller

I have not seen any info here on items like this, so I'll just ask...

Anyone have an opinion on this:

Just curious if it works the same as Kennedy's adjustable valve. Heck, it looks like something a person could build from parts at Lowe's.

the turbonetics one is nicer then that. im going to put in on the new turbo and mount the adjsuter in the cab

Tom, I have all those parts on the shelf if you would like me to make you one?

Its just brass parts and a needle valve to adjust the ammount of boost the wastegate sees, therefore allowing you to run higher(or lower) pressures.

Just figuring that if all these mods Ive got in the hopper do what I hope, they are going to render the boost valve obsolete, and I should probably use something adjustable.

Hmm..now that I think about it, I read a while ago on DP where someone was going to use an air compressor regulator and a length of hose to do the same thing. Hell, that shouldnt be all the tough to build. Calibrating it would be interesting.

Can you explain, Vaz? I figured if the mods I'm doing allow the turbo to make more boost than the 32lbs safelimit then I would come up on the wastegate easier. I have no idea what boost level the PPE valve limits at.

i cant get over 30 but thats with a tranny safe tune. i would like an adjustable so that when i make more than 32 i can turn it back a little
