Do any of you all know of a good machine shop close to the Nashville, TN area that has Duramax experience. I am about to start the tear down of my LLY for head gaskets and want to take them to someone that has done them before. I am located about an hour northwest in Clarksville, TN. If any of you are close and want to help feel free to shoot a PM.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize that Wagler was only 3.5 hrs away from my place. that is close enough to drive them up in the back of the wifes SUV. I will give them a call tomorrow and see if I can get a ballpark estimate for machine work.

The point of my comment was that if you aren't willing to qualify your comment with specific facts, then don't bring it up in the first place. This isn't your high school gossip group; we are all grown adults here (for the most part). Either say what you have to say, or don't say anything. We don't want rumors started based on half truths.
I've had fleece/freedom racing engines.. do my dmax stuff.. wagler and Danville where swamped at the time

Just my opinion, but any shop worth their machining can handle a duramax block and heads for a stockish rebuild.
