just wondering if any of the MA guys have had trouble passing inspection with the egr blocked off? when they plug into the obd2 does the egr test read "n/a" or "ready" after the cel has been taken care of in efi live? Im considering doing the egr block but dont want to have to deal with taking it out or retuning to stock every year. when i had my evo 9 they started to catch on to all the monitors reading ready because you could just set them all to ready through ecuflash which is the evo version of efi live. i never had a problem myself, just trying to see what kind of trouble, if any, that you guys have had before i go ahead and block off the egr on the truck. thanks

06 does not get plugged in for mass or atleast mine has not in 3 years... That being said as long as the check engine light is off they won't plug it in. As long as the cooler is under the hood visually I think you will be fine. :thumb:

The first time I got it inspected my buddy Scott asked me to do a donut and blow some smoke then we sat and shot the shit for 15 minutes and he gave me my sticker haha. Since then I've had it inspected at 2 other places with no issues

thats funny haha..so it seems pretty safe to do then. part of the reason i got rid of the car i had was because it was so stressful to deal with inspection, i was always worried about getting flagged for mac and having to take the cams out, o2 housing off etc. from what i gather my 06 wont even get plugged in..so glad i didnt buy the 07 i looked at before i bought this truck.

Mine hasn't been plugged in for a few years now I don't know what emissions will get changed to so best bet save all your stock stuff.
