Im in need of new lower valance to bumper retainers, but having trouble find a GM part number for them. Their a bigger version of the fender clips that are a pain in the *** to remvoe without breaking. I broke all mine when I took my front clip to paint. I'll post a pic of that part im needing. They attach the lower plastic valance to the bottom of the steel bumper under the cover.

where did the $63 come from?
I was looking at the VALANCE HARDWARE KIT-26PC 19.95

I dont think thats the right kit. steve tried ordering different ones and never got the right plastic clips. they were either too small or not the right design.

Went to the body shop today, plastics are being painted and what do you know, al the retainers were in a seperate bag that I had overlooked. :woott::woott:

I did find though, that 1/4" bolt with a locking nut works very well too, and you can move the bumper back or forward if you have an issue on rubbing.

Got everything mounted, and man im glad I had it done. Missing a srew and a push lock clip, so need to find a few extras but overall i like it very much. I was only charged 200 bucks for them, but I'll be flipping the body shop another 100. Crappy pic, but I like it way more. Still need to mount foglights and some other small stuff. :thumb:
