lower intake runner removal

i am getting ready to remove the lower intake runner to fix a boost leak. My question is does the turbo and cp3 have to be removed to get the end bolts out of the runner?

yes the turbo and cp3 have to be removed

If you are talking about the y bridge no. If you mean the clamshells yes or you can remove them with the heads and leave the turbo and cp3 alone.
