I don't think you can get the gaskets backward. The bolt holes will be too far off. Is this an Allison with a G solenoid?

There are 2 gaskets. Upper and lower. They can be reversed and bolt holes line up. No pressure if they are reversed.

Let me check the tabs. The port has fluid coming out just no 100psi. I can hold my thumb over it and not let go. I double and triple checked the gaskets but it seems like when they where off they are way off

The gasket with the big hole in the center goes on over the stator support.
If he did that, I guess I just didn't give him enough credit for his ability to screw stuff up. Seems you would have to really work at that since the back side of the pump won't come anywhere near fitting through that small hole in the gasket that goes on top of the plate against the bellhousing!

Josh, when people flip flop the gaskets, they end up with the one with the small hole between the stator housing, and the stator separator plate.

At least this is what I've gathered from reading when people have screwed it up. Never seen one in person.

Well i guess i dodged a bullet in this one. Thanks josh for the credit it just wasnt due quite yet:roflmao: i didnt flop the gaskets and still really dont see anything wrong. The convertor had no fluid in it. It was like it came out of the box.
