hit a section of potholes on the road today towing 14k behind my truck at a high rate of speed. after that i have been hearing turbo sound coming from under the engine bay(i think) its hard for me to hear over exhaust coming out in front of rear tire, but it doesnt seem like it should be as loud and whiny as it is from under the engine bay.
because it sounds just like a loud turbo whistling sound, that means it must be behind the turbo, making it a downpipe problem?
what does a hole in an intercooler boot sound like?
what does a leak around the turbo/intake sound like.i have had my up pipe leak before, and it doesnt sound like that type of whining, more like turbo.
any ideas welcome? i may just replace all my boots, my downpipe, and up pipe, and other shit until i find a problem, or i know nothing is wrong.
now is the time i wish i had a boost gauge.
