I'm at a loss. I've looked all over the internet and can't find an answer. Hoping you guys will know. The piece that my egr delete bolts to, what would that be called? Looks like it runs down to the plenum but not 100% sure. Pretty sure I have a boost leak coming from in there and looking to replace it maybe upgrade if there is one.

Is there something down in there that wears out that could need replacing?

The EGR delete has 2 pieces from what I understand. One plate blocks off the Y bridge, and the other blocks the port on the up pipe on the passenger side. Over time, the y bridge can push out since the EGR holds it in place and there is a quad ring for the seal. The up pipe can also crack where the expansion bellows for the ego port are.

You're probably talking about the y bridge which in stock form is two pieces. Where the horn goes into the bridge there are two o rings that are tight fit. That connection is known to blow out and leak. Also some delete tubes have a brace to help avoid that problem, some designs are better than others.

The Up-pipe is a known weak link after delete.. I had one break on me about 5 months after my delete.

My friend blew his y-bridge the day after an EGR delete, probably because the stock design was never meant to handle that much boost.

Expensive fix though, cost him 600 bucks...

Just strap in your y bridge with metal tape from hardware store...

Rick at profab used to have a diy section on us website on how to do it...

When I did all my shit on 08 I read a lot before I bought everything and I chose to do it right to avoid problems. I got a full EGR kit with the passenger side up pipe and intercooler pipe but also bought a better ybridge. My friend just did all his stuff for his and he first had boost leak like your having and it was because his plate on the ybridge wasn't milled down evenly with your eye you could see the difference which was causing it to blow out orings too. Then he cracked his up pipe a week later.

Bunch of companies make solid ybridges. Wherli and pusher makes cool ones with color options they're spendy tho.
