LLY: Losing VP between shifts?

I recently did a conversion from LB7 to LLY (I snapped the LB7 crank) and finally got it all converted over and no boost leaks. Almost everything on the top half of the motor is new except the turbo but VP sensor is new and when logging it I noticed when getting on it the VP drops significantly lower than 55%. Ive got it to 3.1%...in between shifts is when it drops every other time its above 55%..any ideas what would cause this?

The tune has a table for boost during shift. The vanes open up to drop boost while the transmission is shifting. Also the ecm will lower fuel during shifts too.

This is to save the transmission as the Alison doesn't like to shift under power and if it does it can cause tie ups and damage

If it is noticable during normal driving and not just in the logs then you my need to tweak the tunes some
