I have been slowly loosing coolant for the past year. I was recently informed my thermostats were ad so I replaced them without incident. Last night I did the EGR cooler delete using block off plates. Today I got a low coolant light. I topped it off then the light cam back on after about 20mi. Coolant is coming out pretty steadily on the passenger side. Hard to tell exactly where from. I pulled the wheel shroud and can see coolant on the very front of the head gasket. I don't get a hard upper coolant hose. I suspect it's leaking from somewhere else but can't find it. Any ideas? It's not the thermostat to heater core hose.

Check the water pump??

A leak there will have coolant pushed down the block from the fan and /or wind through the stack

Probably cracked the heater core connection doing the block off

I think I found it. Looks like I broke the little gasket on the tube that goes into the thermostat housing. Just replaced it and the leak stopped. Hopefully that is the only leak

Simple fixes are nice. WP is pretty close to center on the front cover.....however with the fan blowing, it'll push any coolant leak from that area (t-stats, WP, crossover, etc) around both sides of the motor.
