Hey guys, I am looking into buying a 2007 2500 new style, with 28000 miles on it, any problems with the LMM in '07 that I should know about? Is it a good motor?

i got my truck last year with same amount of miles and not a single problem. I got 41,000 on it now and it pulls my travel trailer around with no problem.

I drove it and really liked it, I have an f-350 PSD right now, and really wanted another one ton, but I guess I could just put some air helper springs under it.

I bought my 2007 Chevrolet Duramax new body style one month ago. It was a lease return in perfect condition with 29,500 miles on it. I looked for it for a long time becasue I wanted a like-new truck. I found many 2007 and 2008 trucks that had been driven, well, like a truck. I paid $36,600 from a dealer when the sticker price was $39,900. It was better than $53,000 for a 2011.

The only complaint I ever had coming from fords and dodge 1 tons is the chevy suspension is softer nad will sag more under load IMO. Our 1 ton duall is a brute and doesn't have any sagging issues but my 3/4 ton can get pretty low in ass on loads I don't think it should. Air springs are a deffinate answer for sure they will help a ton, the plus side of the softer suspension is the ride when empty is 100% better than the ford and dodge trucks.

LMM is a great motor, it being identical to the LBZ minus the LMM having DPF on it they run excellent

yeah i bought it over a week ago and so far like it, wouldnt mind doing the dpf delete, but i would like to know if dealers will void the warranty for doing that, or would they just void the emissions warranty? I am just worried about something like the turbo or headgaskets or tranny something like that going out and not being covered
