Greetings,

Currently Casper is unsponsored, and that has worked well for us. But for the 2009 race season we want to try sponsorship as a way of going faster.

We are looking for sponsors who want good exposure on a proven truck that has been at National events and always attracts interest of the spectators and the media.

To go to the next level in racing, we need to supplement our racing budget with outside monies and parts. It cost over $100,000 to race in 2007, perhaps the same for 2008, much of the funding done from McRat Racing sales. But that won't be enough for our LSR and Drag Racing efforts in 2009.

We have proven to increase sales of diesel performance businesses that have helped get Casper racing, but we aren't tied to just diesel sponsors. We would enjoy to talk with businesses outside the diesel racing market to get them exposure to a market that is affluent with a wide age range.

For the remainder of 2008 we will run 2 or 3 more events preparing for a full onslaught in the 2009 season. A minimum of 6 events will be scheduled that will have media coverage.

Just like our McRat Racing performance business, we guarantee what we sell, and that will not change for our sponsor program. We will get your company proven exposure on a winning team. One of the reasons we have not looked for sponsors in the past is that I wanted to prove we could hit our racing goals first, and we have exceeded them.

My name is Mike Lovrich and I am president of Inglewood Transmission Service Inc.
I have been associated with Pat McSwain for over 5 years and when he started McRat Racing, I was put in charge of his racing transmission needs. This was one of the best moves I ever made as his success became my success. The shops income started to increase and continues rising to this day. Pat is a dedicated racer and a winner in everything he tries and he has a great following which has found its way to my shop as well, thanks to him.
Pat's idea to use his truck " Casper " as a marketing strategy was very wise and can get much bigger.
Pat, thank you for the opertunity to let me and my shop be a part of the McRat Racing success and we hope to be associated with you for a long time.
regards, Mike

This may not be the right place to put this so if it interferes with what Pat is trying to do admins please remove it.

While I am in no position to be able to help with sponsor ship I am able to offer a donation. Not much, just $200 (would be more if I could afford it), but anything that I could do to pay back to Pat, his family, and shop for the years of hard work and dedication to the diesel community.

Let me know if that is ok and I'll drop a check off this weekend at the shop or house.

Thank you!

We need support on the internet, but we cannot accept cash donations. We are getting "Casper" shirts printed up, and when they become available, buying one would be great for supporting our truck.

Since McRat Racing is a business, we need to exchange money or goods for media exposure. That way both parties benefit. So we are aiming at using Casper the same way you would sell a billboard ad, or a radio spot.
