Info: Look before you tow

To anyone who tows trailers....

Something we all overlook..Check your hitch hardware! After having a CDL and thinking different about looking your car/truck over before you drive it made me check my hitch before I strap 10,000 lbs behind it on Friday when I go to Cali. Out of the 8 grade 8 bolts that hold the stock GM hitch to the frame, all but 3 were missing. My single cab and a nice flatbed trailer would have gone for a ride on the I-10. Thankfully, Henry Brown GMC has all the hardware, all is Safe now!


Look your truck over.... takes 5 minutes

So she's torqued to about 140ft lbs lol

Tightened it until it started to get easy, then backed off a half turn. Cross threads are better than no threads!

Well I'll put it like this.

His trucks weight is a spitting image of what Brian is. No fat left on the frame and only has the essentials lol

Damn y'all are harsh on the little guys. Im just about right for tq lug nuts 5'10" and 135lbs. Just remember who yall call when your trying to get into tight quarters.

Having a CDL makes you think safety all the time. I pre-trip everything. lol
