Last night I went to the garage to grab the scan tool. There was my dream car there. A '59 Eldorado Convertible that was in it's final stages of restoration. It came from the body shop around the corner that my buddy does trade off work for. The motor was shot. Well, you see- he has some cheaper non English speaking help that once in a while do a doozy. They power washed the motor and filled it with water the started it. so now it has bent rods from hydrostatic lock up. I was looking at the great pain job then noticed the bottoms of both fenders had primer on them. Well, that's where the lettering for Eldorado goes. They must be individual letters because the little fella drilled and mounted them spelling "EL DORADO"!:spit:. The last big genius move I saw the mutts do was last year they sent over an almost new Aston Martin that the customer wrecked the sub frame on. There was a $2000 nose cone for it sitting on a box behind it and they ran it over. oh yeah, it's 8-9 weeks wait from the factory. So like I said. you get cheap help, you get cheap help.
