Posted this on another forum as well...Just looking for some insight.

So not even sure if i'm doing something wrong or what.

Basically I went into the Scan tool.

connected it to the truck, all is good so far.

Went and selected the PIDs I wanted......Desired Fuel and Actual Fuel.

Go to hit either view or record light at the bottom and gives me an error saying I need to change Logging settings to Dynamic or Stream....I can change it to anything but it doesn't seem to want to do it.

I change it but on F9 tab....it still shows "Logging=General"......

What am I doing wrong!!!

v7.5 and 8.xx were both downloaded and updated today if that helps.

nobody....

Someone mentioned theirs does this too, but they select another PID they know will work, and that seems to work for them.

Just seems like you shouldn't have to do that??

yep everything indicates LB7 is selected.

I made sure the program was working and shut off an injector....so not sure what the deal is.

Validate PIDs?

Did you update the V2 Firmware after you did the software upgrades?

Yes and Yes....

I did the Firmware update first, it popped up a box letting me know there was a new one. Did both options it had, gave me the green light saying it was successful. Did a second search just to make sure it didn't have multiple updates.

After the first attempt, validated PIDs. Still same message. Software is completely up to date.

Tried restarting computer a couple of times.

Might try and re-install EFI tonight, something might have screwed up with install.

So I didn't change a thing when I opened it up but I added an injector pulse and it worked right away......

strange but at least it worked I guess.
