logging EGT's with EFI Live

has anyone had any luck finding the right EGT probe to log EGT's with EFI Live?

I thought it used a standard K type thermocoupler?

I have a standard type K that came with my Isspro EGT gauge and it doesn't work.

What about the output of the amplifier box that came with the ISSPRO gauge?

Pat hasn't had luck yet He is going to try again at some point in time.

He did come up with a way to use the LMM probe, it worked at first until it melted the sensor.

Aren't the gasser guys doing it? Why would you want to log EGT's? For tuning purposes?

Maybe a standard Autometer probe? Had no idea a standard probe wouldnt work.

I have logged EGT's with the probe that came with my SPA 211 gauge but it seemed a little slow. I bought it from John Kennedy, you might see if he knows of a faster responding probe or I'm sure SPA could tell you the exact type of probe that works with their gauge.
