If i want to know if my torque converter is busted or what ever can i log it on EFI? Is there a PID for that? Also is there a PID to log clutch slippage? Sorry for all the questions tonight. I have been limping my truck ALOT lately. And now it has thrown in a new twist. It will move pretty good threw first, second, and Part of third. But Then the motor just revs high like it is pushing threw the converter then the rpms fall because i am not maintaining rail pressure due to no lift pump? Thanks guys and God bless,
Jonathan

Neutralize as in REV freely? If that is what you mean no. If i let out of the throttle it will shift into fourth but not until. If i keep into goes into the tranny limp with P0700 and a couple more. But once in limp it has only third gear and park everything else is like neutral.

i found it after posting but it say PID not valid

There s a trick to doing it. After you've connected to the TCM controller in flashscan, you need to go into the 'Info' menu, and choose Validate PIDs.

Kinda of a pain, but works like a charm. Takes about 30 or 40 seconds to do it, but then if you start with the Default Imperial PID file (before validating PIDs), and then click on supported checkbox, you'll have a list of everything you can log.

Learned this thorugh trial and error but it's worked on alot of trucks since i figured it out on mine...
