It must be competition season...first week of June I had a huge table in the shop full of lockup controllers...now they are all gone!

Ill have 125 more lockup controllers in 10 days (first week in July) so until then, I think I only have one or two left right now...I just wanted to let everyone know who is planning on placing an order ASAP...Ill still be taking orders, but I wont be able to ship them out until I have them.

Yes, the raw circuit boards for all of my modules are made in USA! But they are on the other side of the country from me, thus the delay.

I cant thank everyone enough for the business and support...its what helps drive future R&D and allows me to keep working on new-design widgets. :thumb:

Ben, you néed to hire someone to tame the masses when they can't get ahold of you. I've read dozens of complaints of people not being able to getassistance when in need, you have a great product......just my opinion

FWIW. I rather wait and be patient to get tech help and assistance from the guy that KNOWS the product than some phone monkey that still wouldn't have Ben's understanding/knowledge of the product for a long time. For all the products/services he has sold, vs the few people with issues... Looking at that proportion tells you something IMHO.

Is it possible to program one of the steering wheel buttons to be the automatic button? Would like to unplug the remote and only use the steering wheel controls.

Yes, definitely. The only thing to keep in mind is that the red/green/blue LED status indicator is on the remote, so if you unplug/remove the remote, you wont really know what mode its in (auto/force-lock/force-unlock/standby). But otherwise, the lockup controller will work normally just on the steering wheel controls alone.

To enable the steering wheel controls to also trigger the "auto" control, the module will have to be reflashed.

Which steering wheel button would you like to use as the "auto" control?

If you want, you can send the module back to me (you dont have to send the whole harness and everything, just unplug the box itself and send it) and Ill reflash it, or I can do a core-exchange deal where Ill send you a reflashed box and then you just swap them out and send me the old one back.

A phone Monkey might not be a bad thing though. Now I'm not talking total knuckle dragger, but to take orders, place the correct order in the correct box, ship, follow up with customer after shipping, answering pricing questions, etc. etc. might not be a bad thing. Yes Ben would still have to answer technical questions (which may be a large volume of the calls), but it would free him up from answering the mundane or waste of time questions. Some guys here just want to know when/if their parts shipped and when they might arrive. You can train someone with low IQ and minimum wage part time to do that. Maybe even a friend who hangs out at the shop, train him/her and toss them a few bucks....

Ben needs more time for production and R&D work, and since human cloning hasn't been perfected yet :spit:, an assistant might be in order.

If he's hiring, I suggest some applicants from the Babe of the Day page! :cool2:

Hell, if I lived a little closer, I'd be willing to lend a hand. Ben is one smart SOB, and can't wait to see what the future holds.

I would like the speak button above the program button to be the auto mode. What is the possibility of wiring up just an led to the remote plug that I could mount on the dash and not have the entire remote? If we could do the swap deal that would work best for me.

I know that David over at DTS usually has some of Ben's lock up boxes in stock. Might not hurt to give him a call.

Thanks for the heads up i may give them a call. Its just kinda hard to put money out for something that has slim to none customer service in case something happens

Yep he always got back quick to me as well thru PM's. Even asking if it arrived yet because USPS took pretty long to bring it to me. All was good, happy customer here for sure:thumb:
