Lock up box

So what lock up controller will work best with drag racing. I know dhd and fleece make a lock up box, ive also been looking in to the older BT units. I really like that you dont have to hold or push anything with the BT in the auto setting. What is working best for everyone else?

You are lucky if the BT box works as it should all the time. they are so finicky, its ridiculous. DHD has been the go-to for many guys.

I'm using DHD and that's awesome. always locked when you need.
AS soon as i shift the 2nd on the track, i lock

My BT has been flawless since 2015 when I bought it but there are many who haven't had that experience. DHD and Fleece have been reliable as well.

DHD is the way to go. Plus I love the mounting location.

it can still be hit and miss on some trucks its seems. depending on power level and how crappy the converter couples, sometimes the TCM just wont do what you want it to. there is more tables that need to be found.

I have the DHD and works every time. The mounting location is nice as well.

Any big differences between the fleece and dhd units? I kinda like the fleece box because of the button instead of a switch. Ill have to hold the unit in my hand as i launch... i have nothing but a steering wheel left inside lol

Is the button on the Fleece unit a momentary switch or does it latch? I was looking at the Fleece tapshifters and it says you can add the Allilocker, but they make it sound like operation is different when added on to the tapshifter
