So as I was replacing the xfer case gasket yesterday, a pretty sharp 06 dmax pulls in the shop. After chatting he asked why I beefed up my trans, cause they will hold 1000hp stock.. I called him an idiot. He said I work on them every day, I build them. My truck makes 840hp. I asked him what was done to the internals and what turbos he was running.... His answer Propane LOL!!!!!!!

I said lets line them up after I button this driveshaft back in.

My LMM smacked this guy senseless. Had him by 15 trucks at 100......:roflmao:

If he had propane AND pinstripes you would have been toast though. That's 1k at the tires minimum.

How do people end up believing this stuff? I don't think some understand what 1000 hp really is and will do to parts.

I type this in the shop as I look up on the shelf and see boxes that hold carillos, fingers pistons, a big AF cam, dual pumps, and plenty of turbo to hurt it all.

Psh, 10 years ago I was a freshman in high school haha. I had never been near anything diesel besides a tractor. For all I knew back then Pat & Kat McSwain were cartoon characters and the triple stack of doom was a 9 pound hamburger
