LMM transmission cooler

Jaden here. New to the forum. Was referred here by a fellow GM tech friend of mine. Said you guys have some great info here and no kiddie bs/drama.

Is there a cooler out there for the LMM yet? Called PPE since they 'list' one on their website. Says not available. Called ATS Diesel and they said no but they are working on an under the truck mounted one with an electric fan.

What are you people using to cool down your Allison? I just installed an ATS Extreme 6 in my unit and would like to cool it down.

Spoke to him. Apparently he said he makes the coolers that PPE is advertising. Mike said he doesnt have anything. Thats why I posted this looking for suggestions..

Nothing yet the new core support bracening is causing some issues for mounting the older style cooler. i belive mike is working on one but no idea on eta.

I was planning on sticking with Mike. Heard nothing but great stuff about him.

Allison should take his advice. He does excellent work.

I just want to somehow figure out how to cool my ATS Extreme... Was looking at aftermarket generic coolers (aka the u haul store types) but i was iffy since the fittings wont be the same and brackets etc...

How hot doez your trans run? Mine is running 15-20 degress cooler with my new clutches and 54 converter

I just got word from Setrab that they will be starting on it shortly. Plans have been drawn up for a year.:rolleyes: It will be a moduler unit that will fit '06-'09 with bracket change.
