Every time I come to a slight hill the truck always downshifts when I put the cruise on. All my LB7's never do this and just climb the hill with ease. Does anyone else have this problem? Can it be tuned out?

Tune the part throttle tables...
Downshift should be less then up shift... The lower the down shift from up shift the greater ability to lugg the engine
Messed with my LMM to better suit towing heavy and how I tune the emgine

CC in my LMM is a little weird too. I also get a situation in lower settings where it will coast and then abruptly throttle up to speed and keep repeating that process. I would mess with the shifting, but on the same road holding speed with the throttle there is no issue.

Mine did that also, drove me nuts.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'm going to have to contact Steve to play with the tune a little.

As long as the cruise isn't on, it's not too bad. But with it on, man it drives me bananas.
