That day it was around 35ish.
Took the truck out today for lunch and noticed it, ran it around for about 15 minutes and it was still doing it. It's about 60 out now. Pretty good little puff on start up then just a little bit like you see in the video.

Mine does that from time to time in cold weather. If I clean the air filter, add some stanadyne to the fuel and fill up at truck stop, it pretty much goes away. Doesn't do it in the summer months, so I never worried to much about it.

I can get a little blue smoke only on the first start up when cold (30ish degrees) and the engine is cold, but it goes away in just a few seconds.

Hmmm... Fwiw mine hazed exactly like that (eventually got worse) when I had a worn out cp3. I swapped it and it went away completely. I have 60 overs so my guess is that with the old pump it just wasn't atomizing very well.

You have a newer truck than mine so I doubt that it's the same reasons as mine.
Just fruit for thought I suppose.

Mine wasn't holding at idle. Which I think caused the fuel not to atomize very well. So it created a haze.

At least that's my opinion. Bc with the new cp3 and proper Rp at idle... The haze is 100% gone.
I'm not saying that is what is going on with yours... But
Maybe it wouldnt hurt to check. Your truck is new. So I doubt you have weak Rp at idle.

So I did a couple log's of the turbo vane position but I have no idea what i'm looking at. I also did a log wide open on my big tune and it look's like the truck is jumping around on the tunes. It switches tunes erratically.

Mines done it since the 40 overs. Hope it's not a bad cp3, only holds 4.5k psi at idle.... Seems to start smoking when the rail pressure drops at idle and doesn't stop.

Rob can fix it. Call him and see if he can check your log. He can fix the tune jumping too.

Mine hazes off and on since I did the 40 overs. Sometimes more then others. Sometimes not at all. What should rail be at idle? I checked my balance rates and they are good.

My truck does this as well, only in the colder temps. From my understanding, when a diesel smoke is blueish at idle, it can be from "overfueling"(or oil). When the diesel fuel is cold, along with a cold engine Im sure that some fuel isnt buring all the way, causing the blueish visual smoke. After running for about 15 min, my truck has no smoke. Im sure the winter fuel doesnt help at all either.
