Lmm GPCM delete

Has anyone successfully deleted the gpcm? And what was all needed to do so? I’m deleting my glow plugs and wires from harness while engines out and trying to see what’s involved in deleting the module as well. I’d liked to ditch as much wires as possible for a cleaner engine bay

Just join the CANbus wires and have all codes turned off and should be good?

You might just try pulling fuse(s) to see how your truck reacts to not having a working GPCM. Just because you think it's not needed, your truck also has a voice in the matter and may be different than yours. Certainly the data lines are important and must not be just snipped off, but other systems, BCM for one, ECM for another, will be looking for something that's not there. I'm not saying it can't be done, just telling you to step lightly.
