I had my truck tuned and DPF DEl. When they did the tune they turned off the EGR shit but now i want to get all the EGR stuff off my truck. I am lost because i am seeing a lot about the Y bridge braking. Whats the best way to go about this kit wise ?

Y Bridge replacement is the best way. But the next best is to just delete the EGR cooler, weld the up pipe shut, and put a blocker plate on the back side of the EGR valve. That way the factory piece is still held in the Y bridge correctly.

I am running ricks delete tube, tow flows and y bridge strap. I've yet to have a issue hitting 40psi with the factory y bridge blowing out

Yeah the strap definitely seems to work. It's just a pain to install, and looks pretty cheesy in my opinion.

lol I hear ya. I fiddled with that thing forever trying to get it bent right and lined up. It works great though. Can't even really see the thing either

I would like to eventually upgrade to a different y bridge but mine hasn't given me a reason to yet. Ifyour on a budget cut and weld and do ricks pipe and strap.
