Hey ya'll one of the guys that i work with has an 07.5 LMM CC/SB and is looking to get a little extra power and a little more MPG and a little more noise outt his truck. I know that several places sell the Quadzilla Tuner and DPF Delete kits. But he likes his old Edge that he had on his LBZ.. Does anyone know what all programmers will block the CEL's from coming up and stop the regen cycle? Or where we can find him a kit with the tuner and exhaust?

I saw on Chads site (Alligator Performance) that hes got a budget kit with the quad tuner.. But again he really wants the features of the edge. Any help is appreciated .. Thanks

Depending on how much they want to spend, can use a PPE, Quad, or EFI LIVE to tune the ecm and get rid of the CEL's and regen, etc. Then they could buy an Edge Insight for guages, which basically has all the features as a Juice but it doesn't add any power. Just plug it in to the OBDII port and select whichever paramaters you want to monitor and that's it.

Alligator also sells Edge Insights that can be added to the budget kit he advertises.:)

Thanks guys. I checked on the insight and on Quadzillas scout.. they both show EGTs and all the normal info. But the Edge insight is considerable cheaper. I think we are just gonna call Alligator in a couple days and order a budget kit from him and get an insight with it.

Thanks for ya'lls help.

Comprehensive Gauge Display:
The Insight is an easy-to-install standalone multi-gauge display. With what would otherwise cost thousands of dollars and take hours to install, the Insight provides inexpensively and instantly. Some of its many features and benefits include:
• One simple connection to the vehicle’s OBDII (diagnostic) port
• Displays more than 100 different vehicle parameters
• View parameters in either bar or graph form
• Built-in safety features: user-defined visual and audible alerts

Scan Tool and Data-Logging Capabilities:
Capture and record even more information about the vehicle’s performance with the Insight’s data-logging and scan tool features.
• Display and clear diagnostic trouble codes with full text description
• Capture and record up to five parameters for 90 seconds
• Display peak values such as speed and RPM on a PC (software included)
• Performance testing: 0-60 and quarter-mile times

Bonus Features:
In addition to all of the parameters that can be displayed, diesel owners can purchase a thermocouple probe (sold separately) that connects to an additional sensor port on the OBDII connection and display EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature). And for owners of new diesels with diesel particulate filter (DPF) traps, the Insight displays DPF regeneration status.

With its gauges, built-in safety features, and scan-tool and data-logging capabilities, the Insight is a valuable, comprehensive tool. Also, all the latest files and product information can be downloaded via the Internet, which means you never have to send your unit in to get re-flashed. But perhaps best of all is the Insight’s ease of use. With touch-of-a-button control, it’s never been easier to gain insight into your vehicle’s vital engine information.

No recall like the Attitudes have/had:(, but you can log with it if you wanted to, and upload it to a pc or laptop

I think next time my probe for the egt craps it's pants, I may go this route, keep the boost gauge for drive pressure and add a second gauge for fuel pressure.

Thanks for the idea's guys-and spending more of my garage fund for me!!:D
