Has anyone ever successfully defeated this? It is a little frustrating that I can't run 5th gear out past 3600 RPM without it defueling. 1-4 are not a problem, but 5th is not having it. When I had the compounds, I didn't really care because power was dropping off that high in the RPM range anyway, but with the single, it likes to rev more. I would like to resolve this if possible, but nothing I have tried was worked. Let me know if you have had any luck with it.

Let us know how it goes with Kory, Josh.

Those that are not following Josh on FB, Kory says he knows where the tables are and is working with Josh to fix this issue most likely today, then share a public tune with the included tables for all to use

Since Josh is too busy having fun in the truck right now, I’ll update this: it’s FIXED!!!

Lol. Thanks for updating it for me, Waid. It is definitely 100% fixed! It took a few attempts to figure out what he could and couldn’t disable, but once the truck was able to finally start, the defuel was gone. Kudos to Kory for figuring it out!

Where does it normally defuel to? I haven't noticed anything on mine but maybe I'm not commanding as much as you

It is only in 5th gear right around 3600 rpm when it does it. With most normal size street tires, that is right around 130 mph. It will defuel all the way down to 0mm3 if you stay in it and it doesn’t shift.

This post makes me think twice about all the negativity around Kory. It's cool to see people helping out in this community. :thumb:

Thanks for taking the time and going back and finding the fix to this. Big deal for the guys trying to go fast! Hopefully we can get an LMM into the 9's soon!:thumb:

I hold on to some things... but things like this and also the boost thing really need to be out there.. Now, when I find the limiter I catch every once in a while at like 4700 rpm on big single LMLs... that one will be hard to come off of! lol!

EFI had the inversion table in it for LML from the get go - it was just the wrong one. Thats what left me scratching for a minute back in the day. Heck I think we all owe JoshH a little something for the sweet calculator he did back in the day!

After looking through my logs, I see what the problem is.

I've never gotten it fast enough to hit the limiter :roflmao:

Only about 3% of the guys will actually need this but where this will really shine is on the dyno! Now we can dyno in 5th gr without it dying out at 3600rpms with big power setups.:thumb:
