lml violent down shifts towing

while towing the puller the truck down shits super super hard I gross around 25,000 my lml work truck doesn't downshift hard at all while towing equipment I figured id ask before I go to the dealer

Maybe it's acting up cause its jealous it doesn't get any of the attention.

Check TCM harness. I've heard it can short out on top of the alternator.

Is it on all downshifts, or just the 6-5 downshift? There's a TCM update for harsh 6-5 downshift.

only on downshifts yes i'll just make an appt. at the dealer its only a year old and 19,000 on it
