lml trans fill tube?

will an lml trans fill tube fit an older duramax model like an 01? i am wanting to purchase the tube and stick if they will fit, anybody done this yet?

I put one on mine. You have to bend it slightly to clear the speed sensor on the bellhousing but besides that it worked fine for me.

you have to cut 6" off the top, and bend the fuel line bracket slightly. Otherwise it fits perfectly.

I'm guessing maybe if you want to use the stock dipstick.

Yes with cutting the tube you can use your original stick. No need to buy the newer stick. Older ones usually have the locking tab and the new ones don't.

I just bought the LML stick. Sits a little high up but for $25 I couldn't beat that.

This maybe a dumb question but does it make it any harder to remove the driver side up pipe with a driver side dip stick?
