So I'm looking to buy an LML that was in a minor front end wreck. The previous owner tore it down a bit and hasn't had time to re assemble it so I'm looking to buy it and fix it up. I have a list of parts it needs to be complete.

My question is the radiator and all other coolers are out of the truck and most need replacing. I want to hear the truck run before I buy it so I have some peace of mind. I plan to tie the transmission lines together and top them off so I don't ruin the Allison. Is there anything else I need to tie together to just start it for a couple seconds?

Sorry for the noob question I just don't want to overlook anything and damage the truck.

Thanks,
Brandon

Oil cooler is bolted to the drivers side rear of the block. I'd be surprised if he removed it. Doesn't tie into the radiator.

Just a reminder not sure how much coolant is left in the block and passage ways but be aware that the water pump will puke it out so it would be a wise desision to aleast aim any hoses still attached In a safe direction so as not to coat anything in coolant being that all you want to do is hear it run I'd still advice this if you plan on purchasing it or not just out of respect to yourself and still the owner of the truck at this time just a simple piece of mind incase you decide you don't want it aleast the owner want have to worry about it sitting up with coolant all over everything if you decline purchase one thing not mentioned how many miles are on it and what was the extent of the damage what was the damage that resulted in the tear down to last so long just things to think before you have replace other things not mentioned

I'm not really worried about it puking coolant. I'm buying it from a guy I know so he will be helping me get it started.

Glad to hear the oil cooler isn't up front that's what I was worried about.

The damage is minor and mostly cosmetic with te exception of the coolers an a few brackets. I know the guy so I'm not worried about him hiding stuff. I realize other things will come up but the truck is priced right even if a few things come up.

Truck has 33k btw.
