I just got my registration renewal and I have to smog my LML. I thought we got a couple of years before we had to smog new trucks. Wonder if it's because it's a diesel?

For gas cars if you buy new from the dealer you don't have to smog for 6 years. Guess they are doing diesels different.

As is. It doesn't smoke at all.
sweet, didnt know if they would give you hell for any aftermarket stuff or anything. i know cali is a pain compared to here
Im every year, for some reason they always try and convince me that I have an egr delete when I dont have any emissions. Its always fun to put it on the street tune and do the throttle snap test and still pass.
LOL Tyson the guy donw her ein Chandler got his book out that had pictures of the egr cooler and cat on the cali LB7's, and was so confused as to why mine looked so much different and had a "big cat under the hood" :rofl::rofl:
A few years ago I built an early Bronco with a Ford 427 side oiler engine running about 600 hp. I took the registrasion for my 82 Bronco with me. The guy asked why it was so noisey and I said the cat had a hole in it. He passed it and told me to get the cat welded ASAP.:rofl:

And then at the end of it they check the vin and realize its federal emissions and look like a dumba$$:loser:
