LML problem

Got a LML that I'm working on that's running like shit, getting a P0272 code, cylinder 4 balance. Warranty is up, truck has well over 100k on it. Any suggestions on where to start? I'm thinking injector......

I have a similar truck in my shop right now. '11 LML with 18,000 miles, misfiring on one cylinder. This will be the third injector that has been replaced on this truck.

I thought EFILIVE would work for scanning it since it uses generic CAN BUS for the scanning? Have you tried to scan it yet using teh scan tool?

Is there a selection to connect to the LML ECM in the Scan Tool?

All the way at the bottom select the can bus ECM and see waht it will give you on generic. Otherwise maybe try the LMM option and see if that will work, can't hurt to try. I know my wifes PONTIAC uses an oddball ECM that isn't supported, and I use a generic can bus and scan it just fine.

Are all the problems on stock only? Anyone have any real problems with voided warranty trucks?

The one I had was all stock. Another dealer replaced the exhaust fluid tank, particulate filter and two injectors, all with only 18,000 miles on it.

Did you try efi set to lmm to read it? Doing that shows balance rates on my lml.
