LML oil pumps

Will they work on previous years? They are suppose to have more volume than the previous years and I thought they may help with some lower oil pressures found on some of those motors. Any thoughts/

Need to change the front cover and mid pan to work with it last time I read about it.

I like the sound of the lml pump but I bought a new gm pump for this motor and cold (70 degrees) it pegs my factory gauge at idle and I haven't seen less that 35 at idle hot with 15-40 oil. Just my experience
