So my 2011 LML won't stay in elevated idle mode. I first noticed it at the start of winter when It cold starts and takes forever to warm up. I figured out how to turn it on by scrolling through to "elevated idle" and selecting on. Once I do that, the next start up after that it will work. Whistles away and warms up quickly. Then the next time I start it the idle doesn't elevate. So I scroll through again and see that it has switched itself to off (the bastard). It does it every time!! So now I'm in the habit of while I'm driving, without looking at the display its 16 clicks to get the the elevated idle then check mark to select on and it will work next remote start..,. Hopefully someone has come across this
A little about the truck.. It has def and dpf deleted and they programmed the changes into the ecu at the shop that did the deletes.. I do not have a programmer. This was done before I bought it and the only other thing that doesn't work is the temp on the rear view mirror ( reads OC as in open circuit) I don't care to replace the part but i probably would if I ever sell the truck
Thanks ,
