LML DEF Reflash

Any LML owners take their truck in for a reflash even though you didnt have any issues with the DEF tanks?

If you did, was there a change in MPGs, or anything else for that matter?

I dont have issues, and I am getting mine reflashed this weekend. I am getting 13.5 mpgs no matter how I drive...

Took mine in when I had a NOX sensor go bad. I can't tell any difference after the flash...

I'm getting the exact same MPG you are. Sucks!

I finally broke the 13.5 MPG ceiling!! I got 13.7 when I checked the DIC this morning :roflmao:

I have not even had the truck back to the dealer yet. I got 15.4 on my last tank tho. 50/50 freeway and surface streets. I also went on a 130mile trip up the local mountains and back and got 15.1. Have not done any long freeway driving yet. First long tow coming this week, will be pulling about 9k toy hauler. heading to the sierras from So Cal. about 300 miles away. LB7 would do about 9mpg usually. Lots of wind and hills.

What part of the Sierras? I used to live in Bishop, Ca. I was thinking about why I only get 13.5, and its because I normally just drive to work and do some short trips for errands. When I drive to and from work, its about 30+ miles each day, traffic both ways. So hopefully when I do some long trips with no traffic, Ill get around 18-20. Thats the plan anyways!

Heading to rock creek for some camping and fishing. also going to cruise up to Tioga pass for a day and hike in to a couple small lakes. Yeah if your trips are short you may not be locking the torque converter so the slippage is stealing mpg's. of course stop and go is a fuel waster. Liek I said I really have not had it on the open road but from what i can tell it should do about as well as the lb7.

Have fun up there! I wish I was going on a trip like that. As of right now, I am getting the same mileage as I was getting in my 03 V8 Tundra, so no complaints from me, just as long as it doesnt drop, I will be happy! Hope you get into a few of the Alpers Trout!!

Back from the trip. It was great and the truck did really well.
