I am. In an LBZ. Went with it due to price. Opted to not spend the big bucks on a fancy balancer either and went with a less expensive lml one as well. Turned out to be 60 grams lighter than a stock lbz balancer. Made balancing the assembly a little easier.

What did you go with for the flywheel/flexplate? And what pistons rods are you using with it?

I was looking at doing a very mild build with a lml crank lbz rods and stock lly pistons or maybe a set of fingers

Has anyone else used a LML crankshaft in their motor build? They say they are similar to the lb7 crank. Can anyone else chime in
I am using the LML in my lb7 engine. Internally balanced with Arias and howards parts. It is a little harder metal in the lml vs all the others. It us very much like the lb7 crank in the fact that it has more counterweight than the lbz and lmm cranks.

Using a one piece flywheel that Brad Makinen @ G&J Diesel has made for him. It's SFI rated apparently. No flexplate.
Mahle cast race pistons and Cunningham rods.
