Allison 6sp: LML A50 Crapped Out Mid Flash

Was flashing the updated trans tune into buddies ‘13 LML and part way through it crapped out. Now it just shows 0’s for the VIN and won’t take a flash. Any way to recover it or is he buying a new TCM?

Dealer can recover it, I went thru this with my 15 a few times. Have tuner check over tunes and try again...

SPS = Service Programming System. Pretty sure this is what the GM dealers use to flash ECMs/TCMs.

Buddy hauled it to the dealer and left $600 lighter. They couldn’t recover the TCM and he had to buy a new one. Lame.
