Back home now. Thanks to Verlon from ATP for helping. The ECM locked up when I tried to flash. After going they the steps over and over I heard the thumping and clicking you here when flashing. My wife showed up to pick me up and just for the heck of it I turn the key and she fired up. New tunes aren't installed yet. I gotta charge the laptop and try again tomorrow. Time for a beer!

Glad you got it home. I've been in the same situation a time or two. make sure both the truck batteries have a good charge before flashing. I like to make sure everything is off (headlights, blower fan, fuel pump, radio) when he ignition is on and laptop is hooked up.

Do you have an aftermarket radio? Anything that might try to talk to the ECM during the flash might cause issues (like some anti theft features)

The magic recipe for my V2 to license was the 1) airbag, info, radio, and radio amp fuses removed 2) interior lights off, 3) disconnected batteries for an hour, 4) driver door open.

Factory single disc radio here.
