These are tow/economy tunes Ive been running in my trucks and friends in the area. Its 99% based off of Pats 20/20 tow tune with just a few tweaks, so thank Pat and not me as I just changed a few things. I will get on my other computer tomorrow as I have the LB7 tune I run in my truck there and post it, but check this LLY tune out. You can compare it to your stock tune, it uses Pats idea for high altitude GM timing, stock fueling, and just a few other tweaks. It shifts fine and gets a little better MPGs with some increased power at a safe level.

When you say safe tune....How much increase in HP or Torque?? Still debating on getting EFI or just buying the PPE programmer...I lilke the idea of EFI, but I don't have the time to play with tunes, since I have no idea what I'm doing...

Maybe 30-40hp. It's not a race winner. A professional tuner such as Rob, Tony or Guy could custom tailor a tune for your needs, this is just a run around town tune I've been testing for a while and it seems ok.

As not to start a new thread, how does a person calculate horsepower by looking at a tune? I know there is some calculation for it, how does it work? Just for my knowledge. :D

You can get a rough idea from numbers, but thats what a tune is SUPPOSED to do, doesnt mean what it will actually do. For instance many stock LB7 guys run 25*-28* inj timing and 2800-3000ms for a 500rwhp tune.
