So for a little back story, I have the flexalite dual fan setup and it is junk. It barely pulls enough air to keep the unladen truck cool enough in the desert. And the speed controller fried, and today one fans stripped the coupler that turns it. So I'm fed up and going a different direction.( btw I bought the truck with this garbage already installed on it)
So here is my question: will a LBZ fan shroud and fan fit up to an lly cooling stack? I have scoured a few forums for the past few hours and can't seem to find an answer.
It would seem to be a pretty straightforward install, and the parts seem to be easily obtainable, but will the parts fit? If not can they be modified to fit?
I have already read the threads on a full lbz cooling system swap so there's no need to bring those up. It seems a viable option but in lieu of replacing expensive aftermatket parts I already own, I would like to avoid this if possible.
