Ok guys, I finished putting my LLY back together two weeks ago, and she's giving me trouble already. I installed new head gaskets, Bosch auth reman injectors from injectors direct, a 4094avnt turbo. Truck had an LBZ cp3 and regulator, and my tuning has been updated for the turbo and rescaled for the regulator. The first week it ran perfect and then after about half throttle it feels like it goes on a runaway, it will go to redline and had started popping the fuel pressure relief valve leaving me in a p1093 limp. I had assumed that because of my new injectors that possibly I was holding/spiking higher rail pressure than before. I installed a fprv race plug and my issues are now worse. The truck will start and idle perfectly, but as soon as you cross 8k psi of rail pressure or around 1500rpm, the truck will do its runway to high rpm, while desiring 23kpsi and only making 8 or 9 maximum, and when the rpm comes down, it will instantly start knocking, shaking, and puking black smoke for a few seconds (truck is commanding 4.7kpsi but actual stays around 7-8) and sometimes will smooth out back to normal idle and running, and sometimes will not quit fuel knocking or pouring black smoke until it is shut off and restarted. I have no codes at all, my injector harness has had the pigtail fix and I ice picked to ensure connection. Unplugging the fpr brings me right to 23k engine off, but still does not achieve full rail pressure running. Any ideas what could be the issue? This issue was intermittent the first week but adding the rail plug seems do have done more harm than good. Everything fuel related was surgically clean before install, and my cp3 only has about 50,000 miles. I do have a lift pump, with no leaks at all suction or high pressure so it cant be the soft lines. I do have a v2 and can take a log if needed.
