Lly puff of blue smoke?

Hey my lly when I go to start it for the first time that day it has a puff of blue smoke I looked around and couldn't really get a good Answer for if it's normal or not the truck has 198 000km on it a light edge tune and a 4" turbo back exhaust other wise is stock has no PCv re route or egr delete. The engine seems tight like next to no blow by I can put the oil filler cap upside down and it can sit there all morning if I wanted it to

I would try doing the injector flush. A puff of blue is normally timing, or poor atomization.

Ok yes truck sat for a bit maybe harmed injectors it just puffs when you first start that day after that no blue at all I read that guys say it's normal it's just in burnt fuel from the cylinders not being quite hot enough yet but I look on YouTube for cold start videos and not many puff like that

My lb7puffs a little grey on startup sometimes which is normal, but blue is not normally a good sign. Blue is oil burning which can also be poorly atomized diesel(remember, diesel is fuel oil). I know some old cats with low compression puff some blue smoke, but the DURAMAX if healthy shouldn't.

That last one looked normal for my lml when it's around freezing or under.. If that's a warmer start though seems a little excessive but I don't know anything..

ok yes actually forgot to mention it was -2'c in the 2nd vid but i think i have a bad injector or something i just got back with it and was watching close when i was rolling like 20km a hr then would matt it it would shoot a puff of blue then clean again

The 2nd vid doesnt look to bad to me, but the 1st one looked a bit excessive.
