lly or lb7? how to tell the difference?

I know theres a thread on this somewhere but i cant seem to find it. What number in the vin designates what engine is in the truck? Does anyone have a list of these?

1=lb7
2=lly
d= lbz

the reason i ask is because i have an edge juice with A2 monitor that im going to list on ebay and i need to be able to tell someone else if their truck is a 2004 or 2004.5
