I'm going to be installing a modded LBZ CP3 soon. While I have it apart, would it be worth it to go ahead and pull the charger and install LBZ Runners and Y bridge? Would the LBZ set up improve over the LLY setup enough to make the hassle worth while?
I've seen both LLY/LBZ parts outside the motor and I know there is a large difference.

The turbo isn't stock. I've pulled it several times and can probably get it out in about 30 min. So pulling it isn't as big of a deal as the stocker.

If your going to change the y-bridge, i would look at the ones all season performance or rickd lance makes instead of the stocker. And if you havent already done it take out the egr system completely

I would keep your intake runners or install LB7 runners if you were going to go with a large aftermarket charger. The LB7 runners have a larger tank on them. I know the mouth opening is larger with the LBZ but our Hi-Flow 3" Intake bridge with the LB7/LLY flanges flows the same as our LBZ/LMM bridge.

There is no longer the need to change to LBZ intake runners with my Hi-flow bridges.

Thanks everyone. I have seen the rdl stuff. But I was thinking of using stock LBZ simply for the price. It's a lot cheaper.

The EGR is gone. Hasn't been in the truck for quite some time. I used a lb7 bridge to delete it.
