+4 to -4 in park and +6 to -6 in gear at idle. keep ane eye on #8

imo i wouldnt worry about it until its out of spec. I replaced 2 over the summer there not bad at all to do. If it was drasticlly out of spec id replace it but your not there yet..

I'd try running the GM injector cleaner first. I believe that when it's on the plus side it is adding fuel in order to have a good idle. So the concern of filing you crankcase with diesel isn't there as oppose to the negative, pulling fuel away to obtain a smooth idle.

Or I have it back asswards.

I would try the injector cleaner.

Run a whole bottle of diesel Klean to a tank of fuel, basically quadrouple dose it............

Bet it comes down a bit for you.........l

8 got worse..Idk where I heard this but I have always uses a quart of tranny fluid in a full tank every couple of months. The detergents in the tranny fluid are good cleaners. Really helps my fpr when it starts surging.

#8 is still on the edge lol. replace it if it bothers ya. all season has used ones that are tested for pretty cheap.

Will it cause any problem as it is now? I dont have a rough idle or lope but it dose have a small haze at idle.

it wont cause a problem as it is now. i say run more treatment. when you start getting visible soke out the tailpipe and its way out of spec, replace it. im sure your truck drives normal right now.
