Lly injector Dvt labeling

Can anyone tell me the corresponding injector with efilive Dvt ? I have an injector hung and shutting off #4 injector with efi live takes away the knock. Let's just say I know for a fact #4 injector on the engine is fine, after swapping in 3 good used ones.

I want to say the LLY got the sides of the motor backwards, so it would be the cylinder directly across from #3 (#4).

You should be able to verify this by unplugging the #4 injector and start it to see if the knock is gone. The ECU will probably get mad after a couple seconds, but it should tell you what you need to know.

Number 4 is 2nd one back driver side...

That's what I figured out. Unplugged #3 and knock went away... Swapped in 3 injectors and it won't go away. Must be wiring... I'll dig some more

Yep, swapped 2 injectors in and didn't go away, even with it unplugged so I knew I had to move on.

Take an injector hard line, cut it in half, weld the hole on the end shut and put it in the rail feed hole to the injector you think is bad. Then start the truck and see if the dvt controls still shut the same injector off.

That's assuming you have a spare one

I have a full set of used lly injectors to try. This diagram seemed to be the most accurate. It ended up being cylinder #5 that the efilive dvt was calling #4
