LLY Injector Balance Rate Question

Working on a lly. Trying to figure out if its a harness issue or a actual bad injector causing this. Idles rough. If I unplug #7 nothing changes. Tested 400+ of compression. No blowby. I did just tried the ice pic. Cant see any worn wires. Any suggestions on where to look?

After replacing #7 is it still doing it? I had #2 stuck in a LMM a few years ago. Made 2 other injectors look bad along with all pretty bad balance rates, after replacing #2 all injectors were under +/-2.5...but truck had 287,xxx miles too...

Also clean up all grounds on passenger front of engine where the FICM grounds are, I've seen that cause some issues before...

My number 7 was consistantly giving me issues last year. I replaced it and #3 started being whacky, replaced it with a good used, and #4 started to go out of bounds. I said screw it and replaced basically the whole fuel system because I wanted no issues ever again.

Sometimes these trucks are weird man. Fricken curse of the LLY. Tony Martino nicknamed my brothers truck the black cloud because nothing ever went right when we flashed it :rofl:

Have not replaced any yet. Truck has 240k on it. He had 2 injectors replaced at 200k.

Try swapping injectors and see if it follows.

Also need to see the fuel rate. But -7 means the ecm is not commanding a main shot of fuel to that injector basically, and +15 means it is commanding 15mm3 of fuel moreto that cylinder than what the fuel rate is.

I will pull that out when I get more time. Another thing I forgot to mention is a truck runs great after 15mph.

My 05 lly had #2 &#7 injectors shorted out. Caught it while under warranty. Been running strong since. Side note there was a recall on the harness
